EITA-Healthcare, Biomedical Research, and Biomedical Informatics 2020-- The 2020 EITA Conference on Healthcare, Biomedical Research, and Biomedical Informatics, coordinated by the Emerging Information and Technology Association (EITA), is an international forum. It will be held at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A. in September, 2020. The conference theme for the EITA-Biomedical Informatics and Precision Medicine 2020 is "Healthcare, Biomedical Research, and Biomedical Informatics in the Era of Big Data." The program will traverse innovative technologies, thriving initiatives, and clinical case studies that enable the translation of precision medicine into direct improvements in health care.

We are pleased to  invite you to submit proposals (invited talks only) for papers, panels, demonstrations, and SIG discussions. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer-reviewed for inclusion in the conference program and the electronic proceedings.

Main Objectives

The main objectives of the EITA-Healthcare, Biomedical Research, and Biomedical Informatics 2020 are:

  • to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in "Healthcare, Biomedical Reserach, and Biomedical Informatics in the Era of Big Data.
  • to provide opportunities for the venture community to discuss, understand and evaluate the state-of-the art in cutting edge business and technology solutions.
  • to bring together emerging and established entrepreneurs, current industry leaders, and policymakers to discuss innovation and disruption over the next decade.
  • to help participants gain insight into the processes necessary for taking medical technology from design to implementation and commercialization.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the EITA-Healthcare, Biomedical Research, and Biomedical Informatics 2020, to explore what the digital revolution means for biomedical research and the broader economy, to explore emerging technologies set to disrupt existing biomedical and healthcare industries, and their impact on our daily lives, to explore biomedical technology entrepreneurship and its relationship to the biomedical industry, to discover how to turn an innovative product idea into a new biomedical technology venture, to hear presentations from innovators and entrepreneurs in the biomedical technology field and to meet people who can help turn ideas into a reality.
