Advancing Scientific Discovery through

Collaboration across Research Domains

- Emerging Technologies

"Emerging technologies" are technologies that are between new scientific discoveries and fully commercialized technologies. It should involve a deep understanding of the technology, a certain type of prototype, or even better some startups dedicated to commercializing the technology. But most importantly, the technology needs to be exciting, capable of opening up new opportunities in chemistry and other fields, and most importantly, helping to solve major global problems-the focus of EITA's vision and mission. The term "chemistry" is used in its broadest sense and includes materials science, nanotechnology, and biochemistry. Most importantly, an emerging technology is a discovery that hovered between the nascent Eureka moment in the laboratory and industrial applications.

- Current Research Areas and Ventures

Currently we, the Emerging Information and Technology Association (EITA), are focusing on following emerging technologies research and ventures:

These emerging technologies that showcase the power of innovation to improve lives, transform industries and safeguard our planet.
