EITC promotes interdisciplinary research, i.e. the acquisition of interdisciplinary knowledge through the cooperation of experts from different disciplines. The future of research lies in the active exchange of ideas, concepts and methods from different disciplines.
EITC is a federated, non-political, non-religious and non-profit international organization. The colored stripes and words of the EITC logo design represent the different disciplines. They are not associated with any nations or political parties.
The EITC logo debuted: January 2007.
