- Advisory Board and Think Tank

The advisory board does not have management authority or fiduciary responsibility, it simply provide input. However, this thought leadership can have a powerful impact on the perception of a nonprofit. The advisory board often focuses on specific areas of need or ambassadorial duties for the nonprofit. Advisory Board members have specific skills and competencies that are relevant to a particular team.  

 

- Executive Committee

The Executive Committee plays a vital role in supporting the leadership team in fulfilling its governance responsibilities, particularly with respect to time-sensitive decisions, providing oversight, and ensuring that the leadership team’s strategic vision is effectively implemented. 

 

- Business Development

Business Development aims to create long-term value for EITA-NA Seattle by building relationships with clients, markets and consumers. Business Development is essential to the continued growth of the organization. 

EITA-NA Seattle's Business Development department is primarily responsible for raising funds to support the organization's mission and operations. The department's work is not limited to fundraising, but also includes donor cultivation, grant writing, event planning and strategic planning to ensure the long-term sustainability of the non-profit organization.
