Eletromagnetism
- (Vanderbilt University)
- Overview
The Electromagnetic Spectrum is the range of all possible frequencies of electromagnetic radiation, including:
Types of Electromagnetic Radiation
- Radio waves (longest wavelength, lowest frequency)
- Microwaves
- Infrared (IR) radiation
- Visible light
- Ultraviolet (UV) radiation
- X-rays
- Gamma rays (shortest wavelength, highest frequency)
Each type of radiation has different properties and applications.
